Meteorites at the Natural History Museum

As part of our studies of the solar system, the 4C visited Vienna’s Natural History Museum. First our guide taught us about the inner layers of the planet Earth. Then we got to touch real meteorites in the world’s biggest collection of extraterrestrial rocks.

We learned all about what meteorites are made of, where they come from, what happens when they land on Earth, how they are named, and what to do if we ever find one!.It was very cool to touch real objects from outer space!
