Organization

Our school offers your child the opportunity to spend the afternoon with us as well. After-school care is offered based on need from Monday to Friday until 17:30. It includes lunch, homework time, relaxation, and leisure activities.

You may register your child for three to five days of after-school care each week. Registration is valid for the entire school year. Registration for after-school care on specific weekdays applies for both semesters of the given school year.

In the case of an excused absense from school (morning and afternoon), the daily cost of after-school care can be refunded. In the case of an absense from after-school care only, a refund of after-school care costs is not possible. In both cases, the cost of lunch must be paid. If a child is sick or otherwise absent from school for a longer period of time, lunch for that child can be cancelled at least one week in advance.

Current cost of after-school care per day:

Child Care – €7.10
Lunch – free of charge

Parents and guardians may apply for a reduction in after-school care costs, based on a determination of need made by the City of Vienna Kindergarten Services Center.

The supervision agreement may be cancelled only at the end of the semester, and the cancellation must be submitted before the beginning of the Christmas holidays.

Daily Routine

Lunch and Relaxation from 12:00 to 14:00

Lunch is served by group in the school cafeteria. Before and after lunch, students have the opportunity to relax and play.

Learning Hour Mo – Th between 12:00 to 15:00, Fr between 12:00 – 14:00

During the learning hour, students are supervised by both a teacher and an after-school care specialist.

Free Time Activities

Our school offers various ways for your child to spend his or her free time. Wednesday is our “Diversity Day,” which we use for various projects, excursions, museum visits, etc.

Pick-Up Times

The following fixed pick-up times start in the second week of school, and apply for the remainder of the semester. Pick-up times can be changed at the end of the winter semester for the following summer semester.

From 16:15 onward (15:15 on Fridays), children are put together in a single group and can be picked up at any time.

School Lunch

Our daily menu is delivered fresh every day by the company Gourmet. It includes two courses: Either an appetizer and a main course, or a main course and dessert. Pork-free and vegetarian options are also available.

For children with food allergies, individualized options such as lactose-free or gluten-free meals can be arranged with the After-School Care Supervisor.

Holiday Care

Day care is also available on school-free days and holidays. Registration information can be found under www.ferieninwien.at. There is no holiday care offered during the Christmas holidays.
