What is Leonardino?
In order to promote the topic of natural sciences and technology in primary education, four Vienna primary schools created classes with a science emphasis in the 2014-15 school year. We are very excited to be holding one of these Leonardino science-focussed classes in our school.
Goals and Contents
Students in the Leonardino class use additional learning hours each week to conduct research and experiments. In order to foster enthusiasm for topics in the natural sciences, various experiments are conducted and documented in each student’s own research journal. The class also takes regular field trips to scientific or technical institutions.
