Exploring Rivers in 4cc

Over the past month, Class 4cc has been learning all about rivers. After discovering how rivers work, building their vocabulary, and exploring the processes of erosion and deposition, the pupils created these fantastic river models to demonstrate their understanding.

Each model traces a river’s journey, starting from its source in the upper course and flowing through features such as rapids, waterfalls, and gorges. As the river reaches the middle course, pupils included tributaries, confluences, and meanders. Finally, in the lower course, their rivers flow across a floodplain, form a delta and end at the mouth.

We are very proud of the creativity and knowledge the class has demonstrated in this project—well done, 4cc!
